About the Digital Concert Hall
The Digital Concert Hall is the virtual concert venue of the Berliner Philharmoniker on the Internet. Here you can experience the orchestra performing live at the Philharmonie in Berlin in more than 30 broadcasts every year. Just a few days after each broadcast, a recording of the concert is then available to watch in our archive. In this way, the Digital Concert Hall documents almost in its entirety the artistic work of the Berliner Philharmoniker and its musical partners – from principal conductor Sir Simon Rattle to famous guest conductors and soloists.

With our free video, you can test whether your computer and Internet connection meet the technical requirements to watch broadcasts from the Digital Concert Hall.
In addition to the concerts, there is also a wide range of bonus material for you to watch in the Digital Concert Hall. For every recording there is a trailer and a full-length interview with one of the artists. In the Video Specials section we also introduce you to the Berliner Philharmoniker’s education project “Zukunft@BPhil”. Here you will also find films such as the award-winning documentary Rhythm Is It!
To find out more about the Digital Concert Hall, simply register free of charge as a user. As a registered user, you have access to the bonus material and can buy tickets and gift certificates for the concerts.
The Digital Concert Hall is the only project of its kind worldwide, not least for the technical standards it sets. Six remote-controlled HD cameras have been installed in the Philharmonie in Berlin which, along with excellent audio technology, ensure that the experience is as authentic as it is thrilling.
